Mustard Butter

Ingredients

8 Tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter, slightly melted

¼ cup Sable & Rosenfeld Tipsy Garlic Dijon Mustard or Russian Mustard (if using the Russian Mustard eliminate the honey)

2 tsp honey

1 tsp minced fresh savory or oregano

2 tsp fresh lemon juice

Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

This is excellent as a rub for small game birds or served on meats and roasted poultry.

Combine ingredients in a small bowl.

Use immediately to baste poultry, or refrigerate in a small bowl or ramekin and spoon on just before serving.

Makes about 2/3 cup.
