Mustard Dill Sauce

Ingredients

3 Tbsp Sable & Rosenfeld Tipsy Garlic Dijon Mustard
2 Tbsp snipped fresh dill
1 to 2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice or red wine vinegar, or to taste
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Pinch of ground cardamon
½ cup vegetable oil 

Preparation

This sauce is great with smoked salmon or can also be served with other smoked, grilled, sautéed, or poached fish.

Whisk ingredients (except vegetable oil) together in a medium bowl until smooth. Then gradually add the ½ cup vegetable oil whisking constantly, until blended and smooth.

Cover and let stand for 2 to 3 hours before serving to allow the flavors to develop. Serve at room temperature or chilled. This sauce will keep, covered and refrigerated, for up to 2 days.

Makes 1 cup.
